We exist to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known.
We are evangelical Christians — people who believe the Bible is the complete and sufficient Word of God, that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, that He died for our sins and rose bodily from the dead, and that this news is the best news the world has ever received.
We say this clearly because Law 3 — Truth — requires it. We also say it because the love at the center of this story is too large to leave unnamed.
Nothing on this page is a condition of using Helix. We are not interested in converting customers. We are interested in making good software and telling the truth. This page is the truth about us.
How Much He Loves You.
Before anything else — before the theology, before the tradition, before the instructions — there is this:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."
John 3:16
God did not send Jesus because humanity had earned it, or because we showed sufficient promise. He sent Him while we were his enemies (Romans 5:10). While we were the problem. While we were still in the middle of the wreckage we had made of the relationship. That is not the behavior of a distant cosmic accountant. That is the behavior of a Father who could not bear the distance.
Law 2 — Proactive Intelligence. God did not wait to be asked. He moved first, before we knew there was a problem worth solving. The law that calls silence a failure inherits directly from this.
Jesus put it plainly in John 15:13: "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." And then He did exactly that — for people who had not yet decided whether they were His friends. The cross is not a transaction. It is a declaration. It says: this is how much.
North Star — Fairness. A gift offered at full cost to the giver and no cost to the receiver. Every pricing decision we make is measured against a standard we did not set.
Whether you use Helix or not. Whether you ever give this another thought or not. Whether you believe it today or never — the love that drove the cross is not conditional on your response to it. It simply is. You are loved by name, by the God who made you, at a cost that staggers comprehension.

Who He is — clearly stated
Jesus Is Not a Prophet or a Good Teacher. He Is God.

We want to be plain about this because the Christian faith has been imitated by movements that use the same vocabulary with different definitions. We are not Latter-Day Saints. We are not Jehovah's Witnesses. We are not a cult, a sect, or a derivative. We are evangelical Christians who hold the same orthodox faith that the church has held for two thousand years.
One God, Three Persons
We believe in the Trinity — one God eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not three gods. Not one person wearing three masks. One God, three persons. This is not a later invention — it is the consistent witness of the New Testament from the first page to the last.
Jesus Is Fully God
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). Jesus is not a created being. He is not a lesser god or a spirit-creature. He is the eternal Son of God, God incarnate — fully divine and fully human — who has existed from before time began and through whom everything was made (Colossians 1:16).
The Bible Is the Word of God
The 66 books of the Old and New Testament are the complete, sufficient, and final Word of God. We accept no additional scriptures, no ongoing revelations, no publications that sit alongside or above the Bible. Scripture alone is our authority.
Salvation Is a Gift — Not an Achievement
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8–9). You cannot earn your way to God. You cannot perform your way there, donate your way there, or belong your way there. Salvation is received — by grace, through faith.
The Resurrection Was Bodily
Jesus rose physically from the dead on the third day, appeared to more than five hundred witnesses (1 Corinthians 15:6) — most of them still alive when Paul wrote it, available to be questioned — and ascended into heaven. He is not a memory or a metaphor. He is alive.
The Gospel in Plain Language.
The word "gospel" is from the Greek euangelion — good news. And it is. Here is the story:
1.God made us for relationship with Him.
The creation is not an accident. You are not an accident. You were made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), known before you were formed (Jeremiah 1:5), and designed for a relationship that death was never supposed to interrupt.
2.We broke that relationship.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) — not just physical death but the severing of the relationship we were made for. Every person who has ever lived has experienced this break.
3.God came to fix it Himself.
He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities — upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Son of God entered human history, lived the life we could not live, and died the death we deserved. Not as a martyr. As a substitute. — Law 1, Face-Saving, at its origin: He bore the exposure so we would not have to stand in it.
4.He defeated death.
On the third day He rose — not symbolically, but bodily, historically, verifiably. The resurrection is not a comfort story. It is the event on which everything depends. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile (1 Corinthians 15:17). But He has been raised. And because He has, death is not the end for those who belong to Him. — Law 3, Truth: the claim was made to be examined, not merely felt.
5.He is coming back.
This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go (Acts 1:11). The story is not finished. The best part has not yet happened. History is moving toward a conclusion, and that conclusion is Him.
→ Law 1 — Face-Saving. The cross is the ultimate act of absorbing another’s exposure. He bore our grief, carried our shame, so we would not have to stand under the weight of what we had done. Dignity preserved — at cost to the one preserving it. That is where the law came from.
How a Faith Journey Begins.
The gospel is not a concept to be agreed with. It is a person to be responded to. When the crowd in Acts 2 heard Peter preach the resurrection and asked "What shall we do?" — Peter gave them a specific answer. The response the New Testament describes consistently is not complicated, but it is complete.
Hear
Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ (Romans 10:17). You cannot believe what you have not encountered. The first step is simply to engage with the story — which you are doing now.
Believe
Not mere intellectual agreement — conviction. Jesus is who He said He is. He did what Scripture says He did. The resurrection happened. This has consequences for how you live.
Repent
A genuine turn — not just regret for the consequences of sin, but a change of direction. Turning away from self-rule and toward God. This is not a one-time emotional event but the beginning of a new orientation.
Confess
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). The mouth and the heart in agreement — public acknowledgment of what you privately believe.
Be baptized
Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins (Acts 2:38). In our tradition — the Christian Church / Restoration Movement — baptism is by immersion of a believing adult who has repented and confessed. It is the moment Scripture describes as burial with Christ and resurrection into new life (Romans 6:3–4). Not a ritual to be performed afterward but the response the New Testament describes.

The part most people skip
Not a Convert. A Disciple.
The last command Jesus gave before He ascended was not "go and make converts." It was: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19–20)
A convert has changed their stated belief. A disciple has changed their life. The difference is not a small one. Jesus never called anyone to sign a statement. He called people to follow — literally, physically, daily. The invitation was always the same two words: Follow me.
Discipleship looks like this: you study the life and teachings of Jesus and you let them reshape you — your money, your relationships, your ethics, your ambitions, your reaction when someone wrongs you. Not because you are performing for an audience but because you are being made into something. The technical word is sanctification. The practical reality is that you become, slowly and imperfectly, more like the person you are following.
Jesus described the cost directly: "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23) This is not easy. It is also, by every account of everyone who has tried it seriously, the most alive a person can be.
North Star — Reliability. Not a single decision but a consistent pattern held over years. This is also why graduation in Helix is earned through demonstrated work rather than granted by subscription tier — The Coach™ surfaces readiness, a human confirms it.
A disciple is not a solitary project. You need a community of other followers — a local church — where you are known, challenged, served, and serve in return. The New Testament church was never a broadcast. It was a family.
This is the shape of the ensemble. Eight roles, none redundant, each accountable to the others. We did not design that structure. We copied it.

Our Tradition.
We are part of the Restoration Movement — a tradition begun in the early 1800s by Barton W. Stone and Thomas and Alexander Campbell, who believed the church had drifted from its New Testament roots and could be restored simply by taking Scripture seriously.
Their summary was this: no creed but Christ, no book but the Bible, no name but Christian. Not as a creed — that would defeat the point — but as a posture. The authority of Scripture over tradition. Christ as the only confession required. The name "Christian" as sufficient.
→ The same instinct that rejected human traditions in favor of the source text produces a platform that rejects feature complexity in favor of the actual job. No unnecessary ceremony. The work is the thing.
The Restoration Movement has grown into three distinct streams: the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), the Churches of Christ, and the independent Christian Churches — the stream our own church belongs to. None of these is a denomination in the formal sense. There is no headquarters, no governing body. Each congregation is autonomous, accountable to the Scriptures and to the believers in it.
In practice: we take baptism by immersion seriously, because the New Testament does. We take communion every Sunday seriously, because the early church did. We take Scripture as the final word, because Jesus did.
Law 3 — Truth. The instinct that strips away what was added and keeps what was given is the same instinct that refuses to ship a feature which obscures what the software is actually doing.

The gospel is not complicated. God made you. You drifted. He came after you anyway — at cost to Himself that no human would have paid. He offers you the relationship you were designed for, not because you earned it but because He loves you. The door is open. The invitation stands.
We did not build Helix to make disciples. We built it to help service companies run well. But if someone reads this page and starts a conversation that matters more than software, we will consider that the best outcome a piece of technology ever produced.
